NHM Welcomes Fall Cal Poly Humboldt Student Interns
The Cal Poly Humboldt Natual History Museum is pleased to welcome seven education interns this semester as well as a gallery studies intern. These Humboldt students will be working with museum staff to develop and offer virtual programming this term.
Cal Poly Humboldt students Anisa Benamira-Dod, Jackie Cullen, Heather Hollingsworth, Mo Jones, Emily Ortzow, Rachel Ostrander, and Greta Wassersleben have joined the NHM team as student interns this semester participating in the education internship program. As part of their internship, they will work with NHM staff to develop Virtual Visits to the museum for school children and to develop enrichment programs for youth to have fun while learning about science, nature, and natural history topics of interest. Art major, Juliana Artemov has also joined the museum team this semester as part of the gallery studies program and will be actively involved in program development and publicity this Fall utilizing illustration, writing, and video skills.
