Look closer and make connections at the Natural History Discovery Day

 Saturday April 1, 2023, 11-3 p.m.  

$3 per participant & free for members 

This Discovery Day will focus on taking a closer look at the natural world through many interactive stations and fun educational activities that explore the different disciplines of science.

Take a  closer look at zoology where we will focus on a hands-on experience with live animals such as reptiles and amphibians, and Chinchillas! Learn about the animals and their habitats and behavior.  Find out how to identify animal tracks. 

Take a closer look through the microscope and quiz yourself on what you see. Play a Matching game.

Learn more about rock identification through doing a set of experiments.  

Play a game and test your knowledge about whales and perhaps learn something new! 

Learn about coral and make your own model. 

Discuss local pollinators and make your own mini field guide. 

....And so much more fun for all ages.
